7 days in Georgia

· Meet-and-greet at the airport* and transfer to the hotel in Kazbegi, Stepantsminda.
· Check-in at the hotel.
· Welcome Dinner: A complimentary traditional dinner in the style of the Mokheve mountain people.

*Please note: You can fly into Vladikavkaz (a 2-hour drive from Kazbegi) or Tbilisi (approximately a 3-hour drive from Kazbegi).

We ascend to an altitude of 2400 meters to visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, soaring in the clouds, and to see the legendary stratovolcano, Mount Kazbek. Afterwards, we take a walk to the Gveleti Waterfalls, whose waters descend from the glaciers themselves, and the views resemble scenes from the movie "Avatar." Next, we go on an excursion to the Dariali Gorge, where we visit the monastery complex and taste wine made by the monks. In the evening, we return to the hotel for rest, and dinner is optional.

We depart for Juta, the "Georgian Switzerland." We will embark on a 6-7 hour trek through the mountain valley. The trek is suitable for beginner and intermediate fitness levels. We will follow hiking trails through mountain gorges and past small villages, culminating in a picnic at the "5season" campsite.

Optional evening lounge: rent a house with a sauna and barbecue area.
We cook barbecue, admire the stars and relax in the mountains. Paid separately.

We visit the Sioni Tower and the ancient Temple of the Assumption of the Mother of God, which features an observation deck with panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains. Next, we travel to the Truso Valley, where we will embark on a beginner-level hike—a walk without significant altitude gain. We are in for a vivid journey to the Valley of Narzans. The Truso Gorge is one of Georgia's non-touristy routes. We will see numerous mineral water springs and whimsical travertines, natural limestone deposits.
Lunch at the "Tsenareti" local ethnic cuisine restaurant.

Transfer to Kakheti, the homeland of wine and love.
We will travel along the Georgian Military Highway via the Gombori Pass, one of the most beautiful routes in the world. We will make several stops along the way to ensure our journey is not tiring, but interesting and impressive. We will see the Friendship Arch, the Zhinvali Reservoir, and the Ananuri Fortress. Lunch in the town of Pasanauri, the birthplace of khinkali. In the evening, check-in at the hotel in Telavi. Optional: dinner at "Zodiac" cafe, known for serving the most delicious khinkali in the region.

We begin our wine and gastronomic tour in Kakheti and first head to the village of Tsinandali to visit the museum-estate of the noble Chavchavadze family. We will see a two-story mansion and an English-style park, visit the wine cellar (marani), and, if desired, sample local wines produced exclusively at this winery.

Next, we will go to Sighnaghi, the city of love, "Georgian Florence".
We visit the Bodbe Monastery, walk through the streets of Sighnaghi, and have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Alazani Valley. Dinner according to Kakhetian traditions with a Georgian family - a true feast for soul, where you can try meat grilled on a vine, fresh vegetables, and homemade wine "Iskvervi" - made using 8th-century technology.

Optional:

• We recommend hiring a local guide for a tour of the Tsinandali estate (for an additional fee).
• You can visit a cheese factory with a production tour, participate in making Georgian cheese using old traditions, and enjoy a tasting and lunch (requires prior booking, paid separately).
• You can take a masterclass in making khachapuri or khinkali Instead of dinner (30 GEL per person).
