We begin our wine and gastronomic tour in Kakheti and first head to the village of Tsinandali to visit the museum-estate of the noble Chavchavadze family. We will see a two-story mansion and an English-style park, visit the wine cellar (marani), and, if desired, sample local wines produced exclusively at this winery.
Next, we will go to Sighnaghi, the city of love, "Georgian Florence".
We visit the Bodbe Monastery, walk through the streets of Sighnaghi, and have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Alazani Valley. Dinner according to Kakhetian traditions with a Georgian family - a true feast for soul, where you can try meat grilled on a vine, fresh vegetables, and homemade wine "Iskvervi" - made using 8th-century technology.
